Winter Nails pics

For a start, I hated painting my nails. For me it was a pure chore. I could never be bothered to wait for the paint to dry and so I would quickly mess it up.
This holiday however I've been getting better and enjoying painting my nails. I have been a lot more patient and neater recently and so has made me try out lots of new nail polish, but I have my top pics that I turn to all the time!

CHANEL Nail Colour // 475 Dragon
£18

This Chanel nail polish is a classic christmasy red. In general Chanel polishes are really high quality and only need about one coat but I know that they don't last very long. The polish applies smoothly and evenly and is very glossy. Chanel nail polishes are worth having one of but I don't think its something worth collecting as other brands such as Essie are better and cheaper.
Aside from this, the colour is beautiful and is flattering on.

MAX FACTOR GLOSSFINITY // 60 Midnight Bronze
£5.99

The Max Factor nail polishes are always at hight standards and are very affordable too. The glossfinity range lasts up to 7 days and is always very quick drying. The shade range is very large and there is something for everyone. The shade Midnight Bronze is a metallic subtle bronze which when caught in light is stunning.

ESSIE // Wicked  (AKA MY FAVOURITE)
£7.99

Essie is known for their top quality, affordable polishes, by far my favourite of the bunch. Whenever I don't know what to wear I always go for wicked as it's so wearable yet unique and it is so long lasting too. The Essie polishes are so thick and glossy; they look like gel nails. I definitely recommend Essie if your looking for some new nail polishes as there is such a wide range of colours and they are all so nice.

MAYBELLINE COLORSHOW CRYSTALIZE  // Rose Chic
£3.99

For Christmas I wanted a really sparkly colour and Maybelline seemed to have a nice cheap one. In general I love their makeup and I highly recommend them. The Rose Chic shade is so nice as one coat is so opaque and lasts incredibly long. It's better than a lot of high end ones i've tried. If you are looking for a sparkly new years or festive nail polish then this is the one you should definitely go for.

I hope this has helped you find some really nice wintery festive nails over the holidays.

The "pore-fessional"

So recently I have added the benefit porefessional primer to my makeup collection, I haven't had it for long but has quickly become a favourite of mine.

The packaging//

The packaging is very cute as most benefit packagings are and is not to big and bulky so it's easy to carry around with you. You get a good amount in each bottle and you don't need to use very much so it will last you a long time!

About the product//

The primer has a slight silicone feel to it which did put me off at first but on the skin it's very light. It allows my base products to go on very smoothly and makes me makeup last a whole lot longer.

The benefit porefessional is something which I think you should all try and when you go to a benefit counter try some on and see what you think!!

lush mint julips lip scrub

My lips have been so dry lately and obviously the only lip scrub that people have been talking about is the lush lip scrubs. There are about 3 different types. Poporn, mint and bubblegum. I love anything mint and so picked up the mint one.

On my lips it feels and amazing and I can feel it working into my lips. Once you aply it you can lick it off and it tastes AMAZING!!

The price of this has gone up I belive it was about 4.00 but now is 5.00!!

Here are some pictures below!

p.s sorry this is a short post but I wanted to get this up as I may no be able to put any up this week.

Benefit creaseless cream shadow: no pressure!

The other day I went to a benefit counter and was looking at there eyeshadows. I was only just getting into eyeshadows and only just starting to wear them. Benefit overall  is a brand I can rely on so I thought why not give it a go!

The shade//

The shade that I picked up (no pressure) was one of the more neutral shades so good for everyday use but also able to get a strong pigment for a night out.

The packaging//

The packaging is a typical benefit packaging.  It is very appealing and its something that I would want to keep!  It's a very retro style (as most of benefit products are) and that is what attracts me and others the most.
The actual product comes in a cute glass pot. It is easy to handle and easy to open as both parts of the pot have ridges to grip on to.

The product//

The shadow is very soft and easy to blend. Most of the time I use my ring finger to apply and blend but also a brush can come handy if you would rather want a strong pigment or a even layer.

The lasting power//

The lasting power I find is great and if your looking for something to last all day then this is the one to go for.
